Sony Ericsson MWC: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini & Xperia X10 Mini Pro Unveiled

Just ahead of us attending the Sony Ericsson MWC UK press event tomorrow, where we’ll be offering you live updates concerning SE’s latest handsets (including hand’s on impressions), Sony Ericsson, as well as announcing their new QWERTY Vivaz Pro, have unveiled their new Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro (codename ‘Mimmi’) Android phones which sport QWERTY slider and particularly diminutive proportions – indeed, both these new compact Xperia phones measure in smaller than a credit card (90 x 52 x 18 mm to be exact or just 83 x 50 x 17 mm in case of the Xperia X10 Mini Pro).

As you’d probably gathered, both the Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro – which run Android 1.6 OS and which are powered by 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 CPUs -  are essentially ultra-compact versions of the standard (full sized) Xperia X10 but if, in that, you’re expecting the level of features and functionality on offer here to have been cut back in line with the reduction in size you’ll fins yourself pleasantly surprised as neither are exactly short in terms of capabilities – as can bee seen below.
