Acer Aspire One 532G Netbook Announced
The netbook trend is about to change as the good folks from Acer have decided to introduce the world’s first machine to feature the new Nvidia Ion 2 technology. Unveiled at the MWC 2010 in Barcelona, Acer’s Aspire One 532G netbook model is a real option for true Hi-Def video enjoyment, playing 1080p video (externally) thanks to the powerful graphics card that has a dedicated 512MB of memory.

From what it looks like, the ultra-compact Aspire One 532G netbook is available with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit screen that does 720p resolutions, brings Wi-Fi connectivity along with optional 3G, has 7.1-channel audio output and connects via HDMI to your HDTV or HD monitor for Full HD image quality. On top of that, the new Aspire One 532G runs on an Intel N450 Pine Trail CPU, is supposedly suitable for “smooth and flawless 3D computing and mainstream PC gaming”, and sports a 10-hour battery life.
No word on price, but we know we’re going to get the Acer Aspire One 532G in a month or two in blue, red and silver.
