Compaq Airlife 100 Netbook Getting Smartphone Specs [10.1" Airlife 100 Ultraportable to Run Android on Snapdragon CPU, Features Touchscreen Display]

Android is big these days, netbooks are hot and fast Snapdragon CPUs are quite the hype for new smartphone releases, so how would you feel if all these specs could be bundled together in a stylish new ultraportable machine. Dubbed the Compaq Airlife 100, this 10.1-inch netbook runs on Google’s mobile OS platform, has a Qualcomm processor under the hood (yet to be confirmed, but initial reports mention it), a touchscreen display, a 16GB SSD for storage space, an integrated 3G modem and WiFi connectivity.

Other specs for this rather cute Compaq Airlife 100 netbook include a 92% full notebook keyboard, a VGA webcam and a powerful battery that promises a 10 hours autonomy when used, or a 10 days stand-by time when you forget to put the plug off.

A partnership between HP and mobile carrier Telefonica, the new Compaq Airlife 100 will be available as a subsidized model for those who go with the carrier’s broadband service plans in Europe and Latin America.

No word if the Airlife 100 will make it to the US or if it’s going to be branded as a HP Mini, but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
