Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 Kit Gets Official [Logitech Announces New MK710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse for your Desktop; Both to Offer Three-Year Battery Life]
Logitech has a new mouse and keyboard wireless combo for us, the Wireless Desktop MK710. It’s not the first wireless desktop kit we see but it just might be the first one to sport three-year battery life. Both the mouse and the keyboards will work for up to three years without requiring a fresh charge but I imagine that you won’t keep the Wireless Desktop that long.

Gamers need not check this combo since it’s not exactly intended to improve your gaming skills. Although it could act quite nicely in games too, the Wireless Desktop MK710 is exactly what you need to better control your current desktop or laptop setup.
Rory Dooley, Logitech’s senior vice president and general manager of the Control Devices business unit had this to say about the device:
No one thinks about changing batteries until they have to, but when that time comes, it can stop you in your tracks. With its industry-first three-year battery life for a combo, you might just forget the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 uses batteries at all.
The combo is also bundled with the Logitech Unifying receiver, a great device that will practically go unnoticed. What it does is pretty simple; it lets you pair up to six Unifying-compatible Logitech keyboards and mice while only using one of your laptops’s USB ports.
The keyboard comes with Logitech Incurve keys, a cushioned palm rest and an LCD dashboard that displays Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Num Lock status. The laser mouse is ready to accompany you during those busy work days but it also has what it takes to fire a couple of virtual rounds in your favorite first-person shooter.
Logitech uses its Advanced 2.4GHz wireless connectivity to deliver fast responses. Add to that the 128-bit AES encryption and you’ll a great Wireless Desktop combo to help you better manage your computer.
The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 is going to be available in Europe and the U.S. in February and April, respectively, for prices starting at $99.99.
