Aigo AigoPad Tablet Set for Release This Year
We’ve seen a spate of tablet rumours, unveilings and announcements in the last few weeks alone – not least of all the unveiling of the highly disappointing (lets be honest here) Apple iPad – and now Aigo have confirmed that they will be releasing a tablet PC of their own this year in the form of the Aigo AigoPad.

The Aigo AigoPad’s 2010 availability has been confirmed by none other than Aigo’s CEO, Feng Jun, but, alas, Jun chose not to elaborate in terms of what the Aigo AigoPad will bring to the table by offering anything in the way of specific details – indeed there’s not even been any confirmation concerning the Aigo AigoPad’s screen size (which strikes us as overly secretive) or which CPU with AigoPad will run with (we can kind of understand Jun keeping that sort of detail close to his chest, however).
Indeed, about the only thing that has been confirmed, aside from its expected 2010 availability, is that the Aigo AigoPad will utilise the Android OS – still the AigoPad certainly appears to be worth keeping our ears to the ground for and once Jun has decided to offer up something by way of detail we’ll be sure to hit you with an update.
