Acer P7290 Video Projector Breaks Cover
Acer have just added to their video projector lineup with the new Acer P7290 that promises bright, lifelike visuals. Meant for high-impact, professional business presentations, the new Acer P7290 video projector sports an astonishing 5000 ANSI lumen brightness (4000 ANSI Lumens in ECO mode) and a 3000:1 contrast ratio along with a native 1024 x 768 XGA 4:3 resolution that can be compressed as UXGA at 1,600 x 1,200 pixels or WSXGA+ at 1,680×1,050.

The new P7290 is a DLP certified projector that has been equipped with leading technologies like the Advanced Acer ColorBoost II+ system that will deliver enhanced details thanks to the new powerful image processing and advanced lamp illumination technology. Speaking of lamp, it’s a Philips 350 W user replaceable P-VIP lamp that should be good for 2,000 hours when used in standard or some 3,000 hours when in ECO mode.
Available with a 20-metre wired remote control, the new Acer P7290 comes with a keystone correction and a blackboard mode that will help you project sharp images no matter what’s the color of the surface you’re putting them on. Connectivity wise, the P7290 brings both HDMI and DVI-D inputs allowing for an easy connection to your PC or notebook. It also comes with two inbuilt stereo speakers that output 3W and a S/PDIF port that allows connectivity of a 5.1-channel sound system.
Acer’s P7290 video projector is available as you read and should retail for a MSRP of £1500 (or some $2,236 at today’s rate).
