Pentax 645 Digital SLR Teaser Image?

Pentax Rumored to Debut Monstrous 30 Megapxiel 645 DSLR Camera Next Month

First sighted in 2007, the Pentax 645 Digital has been canceled in 2008 only to make (everybody speculating on it right now) a new appearance today on the company’s website, hinting to a happy ending — a much appreciated debut in 2010. Although it’s not confirmed to be the 645D, the silhouette teasing image looks like a DSLR design which is why everyone thinks it could be the “atrocious” 30 megapixel Pentax 645 DSLR camera.

From what it looks like, Pentax is ready to get back in business with ultra-large high-resolution image sensors for the prosumer segment. The new DSLR camera they have on show is expected to bring “a new world” and to “challenge the next dream” of any pro-photographer starting March 11, when it will see daylight at the Camera & Photo Imaging Show in Yokohama, Japan.

No word what’s exactly under the hood of the Pentax 645D or if that’s what Pentax will be showcasing next month, what we know for sure is that we’ll love the specs and features, but will probably hate the monstrous price tag it will come attached to.

So how about you guys, in for a 30-megapixel Pentax to play with?
