Panasonic HDC-HS700 & HDC-TM700 3MOS HD Camcorders
Looking for a new HD camera to grab your life’s most special moments no matter where you are and how much sun you get, check out Panasonic who have just added two new models to their 2010 lineup with the new Panasonic HDC-HS700 and the HDC-TM700, both using a 3MOS sensor system that delivers true-to-life color even when recording in low-light environments.

Both Full HD 3MOS camcorders are capable of shooting at 1080p quality (1920 x 1080 resolution), are quite good for professional video shooting as they boast new 35mm wide-angle Leica lenses with 12x optical zoom and a gryo-sensor based Power O.I.S. optical image stabilization system that detects hand shakes for less blurr.
Speaking of the 3MOS sensor, “provides an effective video image pixel count of 7,590,000 pixels (2,530,000 pixels x 3) and separates the light received through the lens into the three primary colors – red, green and blue – processing each independently”.
On top of that, both the Panasonic HDC-HS700 and the HDC-TM700 have an SD / SDHC / SDXC memory card expansion to record to, do 14.2 megapixel still shots (13.3-megapixel still images from recorded video) and shoot 5.1 surround sound. The difference between the two, the HDC-HS700 records on a 240 GB hard drive, while the HDC-TM70 only comes with 32GB of storage.
No word on pricing and availability for the Panasonic HDC-HS700 and the HDC-TM700, but we’ll know more 30 days prior to shipping date.
