Lenovo ThinkStation E20 Workstation Unveiled Officially

Lenovo ThinkStation E20 Is Cheap & Affordable yet Pretty Efficient]

The newly launched Lenovo ThinkStation E20 is not a gaming machine, it’s not a powerful rig meant to impress you with extraordinary features but it’s an affordable desktop which can be turned into the ideal workstation for your daily work-related needs.

But don’t be fooled by the minimal design of this entry-level machine as this computer is ready to take on your every-day challenges .

Here’s what you can expect from the ThinkStation E20:

  • Processors: Intel Core i3, Core i5, Pentium and Xeon 3400 Series
  • Graphics cards: Intel Core HD graphics and NVIDIA Quadro discrete graphics up to the FX1800
  • DDR3 RAM support

Believe it or not but that’s about as detailed the press release goes. Pricing starts at $599 for the ThinkStation E20 and the machines will be available in mid-February from Lenovo and its business partners. You will be able to configure your workstations as you see fit and you’ll definitely end up paying less for the desktops you need for your business.

Anthony Neal Graves, general manager, Workstation Group, Intel commented on the new ThinkStation E20:

Users can experience certified, tested and optimized workstation solutions at near PC prices with the Lenovo ThinkStation E20 workstation, based on the Intel® Xeon® 3400 processor series or the Intel® Core™ HD graphics. Users who once relied on high-end desktops now can benefit from a real workstation experience.

In case you’re still not convinced then maybe the fact that these new Lenovo workstations are a lot more eco-friendly than expected might help you decide. More than 50% of the plastic content is recycled plastic. Furthermore the E20 meets the energy efficiency criteria for Energy Star 5.0 and features “an 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply.” So what do you say? Are you ready to fit your business with new E20 desktops or do you have something else in mind?
