HTC Legend Caught on Camera Once Again [Legend to Pack Decent Specs, Particularly Good Display & Optical Mouse]
Just 24 hours after seeing the first live appearance of the HTC Legend, we managed to get our hands on a new image featuring the smartphone “live, and kicking ass” — courtesy of Twitter user @Xmoo (duly credited below). Part of HTC’s low-end segment and rumored to be the successor of the HTC Hero which is now expected to get an Android 2.1 upgrade, there’s not much about the Legend expect for what we knew last year when the whole thing leaked for the first time.

Expected to debut in March with Android 2.1, the HTC Legend is still a mystery for many as the company has done great in staying tight-lipped. From what we’ve been told the OLED display is particularly good, the optical mouse gets the job done very well, while the snappier Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor should be good enough to deliver better video/graphic performances.
From what we learned yesterday the new HTC Legend will feature 256MB of RAM as well as 512MB of flash storage, expandable via a microSD card slot, should pack a 5-megapixel camera, along with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and should be available via T-Mobile.
Sounds like a powerful piece of tech, so would any of you be surprised if it kicks in next week at the MWC 2010 in Barcelona? I sure wouldn’t!
