Honda CR-Z Hybrid Debuts in Europe Next Month
Honda have officially announced that they’re to introduce their Honda CR-Z hybrid to the European market at next month’s International Motor Show in Geneva. As you probably know already, the futuristic green vehicle grabs power from a 1.5-liter petrol engine which is combined Honda’s IMA parallel hybrid system and manages to deliver an impressive 122 hp (91 kW / 124 PS) and 128 lb-ft (174 Nm) of torque, although it only consumers 5 liters of fuel for every 100 km — that’s when it’s mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The European Honda CR-Z hybrid has a 2+2 seating layout, features eight LED daytime running light accent under each of the headlamps, and, now’s the nice part, it has been fitted with a 3-Mode Drive System allowing you to choose between three driving modes for better responsiveness regarding throttle, steering, idle stop timing or climate control — which put in English means more power or a better fuel efficiency.
Honda CR-Z will start selling in Europe this summer, but we know nothing regarding price, so guess we’ll have to wait for it to hit the floor in Geneva before you make up your mind.
