Every now and again a major vendor will hit with a product that causes a raised eyebrow at TFTS central and, this month, that vendor happens to be Samsung thanks to their soon to be released Samsung S2 Michael Jackson: This Is It Limited Edition Gold Portable External HDD.

Yes, if you’re an avid MJ fan who simply has to surround yourself with MJ branded merchandise then I don’t doubt that this particularly gaudy take on Samsung’s 500GB S2 External Hard Drive may appeal, if not for its blinged out finish then due to the fact that it comes pre-loaded with the recently released MJ film “This Is It” (DRM protected, of course) – but as far as the rest of us are considered we’ll probably happily pass up on splashing out the required $123 in order to own one.

Those who are interested may, however, want to know that the Samsung S2 Michael Jackson: This Is It Limited Edition Gold Portable External HDD is set to release from February 24^th.
