HTC Legend Pictures Leaked [Images of HTC Legend Smartphone Leaked, Phone to Feature OLED Screen, 600MHz Processor]

Late last we, we reported on the leaked specs of the upcoming HTC Legend smartphone, which would allegedly take the low-end place in their smartphone offerings. Now, images of the phone have surfaced and it looks just like the CGI renders we saw earlier.

Aside from the pictures (which show off the great OLED screen), we haven’t really learned anything new from the pictures. Reports from last year had the phone shipping with either Android 2.0 or 2.1, but we can’t tell which in the pictures, since all they show is HTC’s Sense UI.

To summarize the rumored specs from earlier, the HTC Legend will be a cheap entry-level smartphone. It’ll feature the 3.2-inch OLED screen seen above, and will also have an optical trackball. It’ll feature a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, which clocks at 600MHz. That makes it faster than a few other Android phones, but slower than the Nexus One.

The phone will feature 256MB of RAM as well as 512MB of flash storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone will have a 5-megapixel camera, along with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The phone will feature GSM radios as it is “definitely” coming to T-Mobile UK and “likely” coming to T-Mobile US. As said earlier, the phone is said to be coming with either Android 2.0 or 2.1.

We reported that the phone will officially be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in just a week, and it’ll be launched in March.
