iPhone 4G Picture Gets Leaked Already? [Next-gen iPhone Rumored Picture Revealed Before the iPad Launch]
Go grab a grain of salt for this one folks since we’re really not convinced that we’re actually looking at the next-gen iPhone in the picture below. Just before the iPad got revealed we showed you a few pictures rumored to portray Apple’s tablet in all its leaked glory. One particularly blurred and heavily edited photo showed what looked like an iPhone on top of a device that was said to be the tablet.

Well it seems that the iPhone in question was not your regular iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS. It would appear that the handset is actually the iPhone 4G, but, as I said, we’re not that confident we’re looking at the real thing here.
According to some sources that apparently know what they’re talking about, that blurred iPhone in the picture is indeed a next-gen iPhone. What’s weird about it is that we’ve had that picture for more than a week but nobody has considered this possibility so far.
On close inspection one could spot two important differences between current iPhones and the one in the picture. But given the fact that this picture has been taken with the kind of camera that should be banned by law due to the quality of the photos that it can provide, we can’t say for sure that what we’re seeing is real.

First of all the aluminum bezel isn’t showing up anywhere. Then again my iPhone, which doesn’t happen to be a next-gen version, wouldn’t show its bezel in such a picture given the fact that it’s protected by a black case. The second, most important difference is the tiny stain/reflection/blotch near the earpiece grill. That, my friends, is what we can call a front-facing camera. There’s no point getting very excited yet about it since it might just be a trick played by a very poor camera.
It’s still way too early to determine if this picture is genuine or not. We have at least five more months to go until Apple unveils its “A+” upgrade to the iPhone and we can expect a lot more “leaked” pictures in the near future.
