iPad UK Availability Confirmed, Pricing Yet to Be Announced
Apple took a couple more days to list their newly announced tablet in Britain and another few to give us confirmation regarding the iPad’s UK availability. Although there’s nothing official regarding price, today we caught wind that Apple UK is going to start selling the device sometime in March for the WiFi enabled model, and in April for the 3G capable, just like its US counterparts.

Speaking of prices, word is (and yet to be confirmed) that the iPad is going to retail starting from £399 for the base model, which would be some £85 more (at today’s rate exchange) compared to the $499 base price for customers across the ocean.
Another question that needs to be answered is exactly which UK carrier is going to offer the device to their customers; although we can speculate that Orange, O2 and Vodafone are going to have a tough battle to get their hands on it — another reason why the 3G enabled iPad could be delayed a bit?
We’ll update you as more info pours in, as we’re expecting Apple to make a full announcement sometime soon.
Meanwhile, how about you guys, are you going to bring an iPad home as soon as it’s available?
