Just a few days ago we told you that the M11x, that ultra-portable netbook-like gaming notebook from Alienware, was going to be available for prices starting at $799. Today the official specs and features of the M11x have been conveniently leaked and you’re going to be very interested to find out that the laptop is already available for pre-order.

This mini gaming laptop will offer you a choice of processors between Intel’s 1.3GHz Pentium SU4100 and the Intel’s 1GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300, an 11.6-inch 720p LCD, a 1GB NVIDIA GT 335N graphics card, from 2GB to 8GB dual channel DDR3 RAM, from 160GB to 500GB SATA II HDD or a 256GB SSD, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and Wi-Fi support.

The M11x will be available in various colors and you’ll be able to select your own personal avatar (from a given list) to be engraved on the laptop free of charge.

Pricing will start at $799 but true gamers will surely want a slightly more expensive version than the basic one in order to truly take advantage of this gaming powerhorse while on the go. Naturally you’ll also be able to choose from lots of other gaming peripherals which should come in handy whenever you decide to use the laptop from your home. More storage space, an extra keyboard, proper gaming headphones and an secondary LCD monitor come to mind but you have to make sure your wallet can take the hit before rushing into your next gaming-related shopping spree.

The Alienware M11x is by far one of the most interesting creations of Dell’s subsidiary. The M11x is one of the very few laptops of its size that are going to be able to actually offer you a pleasant gaming experience. Since pricing starts at just $799 the M11x is one of the most affordable gaming rigs from Alienware. To get yours you will have to wait until March 1 when it will be ready to ship.
