Alienware M11x, M15x & M17x Pricing Details Available [Alienware M11x Priced from $799; M15x & M17x Starting at $1,199 & $1,799]
CES 2010 brought us new gaming rigs and among them we’ve particularly noticed Alienware’s new portable gaming beasts. The M11x is the smallest laptop made for gaming by the company while the M15x and the M17x are larger, better suited for gaming machines.

The M11x, although very small, packs quite a punch. This gaming-dedicated laptop comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA graphics and a NVIDIA’s GeForce GTS 335M card, three USB ports, HDMI connectivity, DisplayPort support, mini FireWire, VGA, 3G support and a battery capable of offering you either 6.5-hours on GMA graphics or 2 hours when using the NVIDA card.
At CES 2010 the M11x was said to cost less than $1,000. And it looks like the starting price is $799 which is a great number for a portable gaming rig. It looks like the price tag has been leaked although the official product page still shows a “Guess the Price” contest.
But the M11x might not be your favorite choice as Alienware has two more angry beasts demanding some heavy-duty gaming. These are the M15x and M17x laptops which have received the new Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.
The M15x is available starting at $1,199. Besides the three new CPU versions from Intel you’ll be able to choose between a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M or a 1GB GeForce GTX 260M video card, a 1,600 x 900 or a 1,920 x 1,080 15.6-inch WLED panel, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and a 250GB HDD or 128GB/256GB SSD.
The M17x will be available starting from $1,799 and it will offer you an Intel Core i7-920XM processor, dual 1GB GeForce GTX 280M GPUs or dual Radeon Mobility HD 4870s video cards and a Blu-ray drive on top of the specs available for the M15x.
It’s decision time, folks! Will you wait for the M11x or go for a M15x or M17x instead?
