Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD Camera Unveiled [FinePix S2500HD Boasts 18x Optical Zoom, HD Movie Recording]
In the market for a new camera that’s got plenty of reach? If so Fujifilm hope you’ll soon be parting with money their way once their newly announced Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD, which offers 18x optical zoom and HD movie recording functionality – hits the shelves later this year.

The Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD, whose lends covers 28-504mm (35mm camera equivalent) making it extremely versatile in offering up wide angle to ultra telephoto capabilities, comes with dual image stabilisation comprising of a mechanically stabilised sensor paired with high ISO modes, Face Detection capable of locking on to up to 10 individual faces along with auto redeye removal but, in terms of a full feature set, Fujifilm are remaining curiously tight-lipped for now (we’ve not even seen info concerning just how many MP’s will be on offer here).
Fujifilm have, however, confirmed that the FinePix S2500HD will capture HD video at 720p (1280 x 720 resolution) and that it will be able to output captured movies directly to HDTV units.
Fujifilm are expected to make an official announcement concerning the FinePix S2500HD soon, though no specific date for such an announcement is offered, but, if you’re looking for an ultra zoom camera with HD movie recording capabilities you may just want to hold off until we can bring you a full low-down.
