Nokia X6 16GB Gets Official [New Nokia X6 Phone to Feature 16GB Storage Space, No Comes With Music Support, More Color Options; Available This Quarter]
It looks like yesterday’s rumors become reality today. We’ve seen the Pentax new Optio camera get leaked yesterday and today we got official confirmation of their existence. Likewise the Nokia X6 16GB emerged yesterday and today the new version of the X6 became real.

The X6 16GB is to the X6 what the Nokia N97 Mini is to the N97. Basically a cheaper version that will still pack some neat features inside. As we told you yesterday the new phone will come with 16GB of storage space available to suit your needs. Unlike the regular 32GB the new model will not have Comes With Music support but you’ll still be able to download all the music tracks you want on a pay-per-song basis from the Nokia Music Store.
Last but not least, this music- and gaming-oriented device will come in new colors. The X6 16GB will be available in black, white, white with pink highlights and white with yellow highlights. The regular version of the X6 is available in blue with white or black with red.
In case you’re starting to consider buying any version of the Nokia X6 phone then here’s a quick recap of the X6’s features:
- 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 640 x 360 resolution
- 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash
- Tri-band WCDMA and quad-band GSM connectivity
- HSDPA support
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0
- 1320 mAh battery
- Ovi Store and Ovi Maps with free Navigation
- Symbian S60 5th Edition
The X6 16GB is going to cost around €350 Euro, which is €100 cheaper than the regular price of the X6 32GB. The handset will be available this quarter and it will probably head to more countries than the X6 32GB model as the later one was mostly intended to be sold in Comes With Music markets. So what do you say? Are you purchasing any X6 version soon?
