Cheaper 16GB Nokia X6 Mobile Tipped

New Nokia X6 to Bring More Colors & Less Storage

Introduced two months ago as the company’s “all you can eat” music phone, the capacitive touchscreen touting Nokia X6 is expected to be available as a 16GB version, too. Other than being a cheaper version, the 16GB X6 is also going to bring a lot more color, as the device should be available in all black, pink on white or blue on white.

Price wise, if the 32GB model was retailing for some $640, the new 16GB Nokia X6 is expected to sell cheaper, for around $500. That means you’re losing half the memory, lack a headset and will probably not include Nokia’s Comes With Music service.

But the other specs are there, and we’re talking about the same 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen 16:9 aspect ratio display with 640 x 360 pixels, built-in A-GPS with Ovi Maps 3.0, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and WiFi (802.11 b/g) connectivity, TV-out and a 5 megapixel digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics that is capable for 4x digital zoom autofocus and has a Dual LED flash.

For now, there’s no official word regarding price and availability, but the 16GB Nokia X6 is expected to be released in North America, “soon” — whatever that means.
