If you’re looking to upgrade your netbook PC by swapping out your HDD for an SSD Active Media hope that their latest solid state drives, namely the Active Media SaberTooth ZX SSD range, will appeal with their competitive pricing and integrated PATA ZIF interfaces.

The newly available 1.8” Active Media SaberTooth ZX SSDs, which measure in at a compact 70 x 54 x 5mm, offer up to 80MB/sec sequential read and up to 38MB/sec sequential write speeds and aside from sporting parallel ATA (PATA/IDE) ZIF interfaces also offer up support for PIO mode 6 and Ultra DMA mode 6.

The new Active Media SaberTooth ZX SSDs come in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities with unit pricing coming in at around $120, $200 and $380 respectively.
