VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 Push-To-Talk Cordless Phone Announced

VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 Cordless Land Line Phones Feature 1,500 Ft. Range

VTech Communications has announced a new land line cordless phone with 2-way walkie-talkie and calling features that extend to a range of 1,500 ft.  The VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 Cordless Phone brings an unprecedented range to typical cordless phones, providing a greater area of coverage for large homes, campuses or offices.

While the mobile phone revolution has all but done away with the need for land lines, some homes and businesses still have a use for a home phone.  VTech has aimed their latest product directly at this shrinking niche, but has added new functionality that should lead to noteable success in the market.  The VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 Cordless Phone is designed for large office spaces and homes, for those who may need up to 1,500 ft. of talk range from their base unit.  While many of us may not own a home with more than 1,500 ft. on a line of sight, its also useful for those with separate garages, sheds or large yard space.

Beyond standard calling functionality, the VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 Cordless Phone also offers push-to-talk features between handsets.  Each handset offers a speakerphone, a backlit LCD and 7-days and 7-hours of battery performance on a single charge.  The VTech DECT 6.0 system can run up to 5 handsets at once with full two-way communication.  The VTech DECT 6.0 LS6325 cordless phone system will begin shipping in April 2010, starting at $79.95.
