MSI X-Slim X420 Notebook Breaks Cover
Looking for a really sleek, uber thin and extremely light notebook, but won’t go for Apple’s MacBook Air or Sony’s brand new ultra thin models in the new Vaio X series, then you should know that MSI have just added to their X-Slim laptop collection with the new X-Slim X420.

Weighing in at only 1.88 kg and measuring no more than just 1-inch thick, the skinny X-Slim X420 features a 14-inch display, runs on Inte’s CULV ultra-portable and energy-efficient processors (a good choice between the Core 2 Duo SU7300 or SU4100 CPUs), has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5430 3D graphics card with built-in 1GB DDR3 VRAM and up to 500GB SATA. On top of that we’re hearing there’s Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and either a 4 or an 8 cell battery that promises to last up to 9 hours.
But the real piece de resistance of the new X420 is the exquisite textured pattern color film print coated with a stylish translucent Cappuccino Brown color.
The new MSI X-Slim X420 runs Windows 7 and should cost around $799.
