LG Apollo & HTC Obsession to Run Windows Mobile 7 [First Windows Mobile 7 Smartphone Appear: LG Apollo & HTC Obsession]
It looks like the rumors we presented a few days ago suggesting that an LG smartphone running Windows Mobile 7 will be launched later this year were not that far off. In fact it seems that we have more rumors for you regarding Microsoft’s upcoming mobile OS.

The names of the first phones running Windows Mobile 7 have been leaked. These are the LG Apollo and the HTC Obsession although you shouldn’t expect them to arrive in stores very soon.
But let’s take things slow, shall we? It looks like Windows has two OS versions for us, the Windows Phone Seven Business Edition and the Windows Phone Seven Media Edition. Guess which version we will love more?
The Business Edition is supposed to be a stripped down OS made for OEM additions like the HTC Sense UI for example. The Media Edition is probably what we will like more although nothing can be sure with Microsoft, can it? The Media Edition sounds more and more like Redmond’s version of a Zune Phone although they still aren’t making one.
So let’s take a brief look at what the two devices that are rumored to arrive later this year. The LG Apollo is supposed to be a 3G worldphone capable of offering you both EV-DO and HSDPA connectivity. Other specs include a new 1.3GHz Qualcomm QSD8650 processor, a 3.8-inch AMOLED display, 10-megapixel camera and 720p video recording. The phone should arrive in August or September, just as we told you earlier, but we have no prices for it yet.
The HTC Obsession is also supposed to be a great phone. It sports a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, HSDPA connectivity, a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor, a 5-megapixel camera and 720p video recording. The phone should arrive in October and we’ll tell you more about it later when it becomes official.
So which one do you like more? LG or HTC?
