CyberPower Revealing Gamer Xtreme 1000, 6000 Desktops

Low Priced Gaming Desktops, Core i3, ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics

Notebooks are becoming more and more popular with everybody and are slowly replacing desktops, but CyberPower has released two desktops to reward the desktop faithful. The Gamer Xtreme 1000 will be a budget-oriented gaming rig, while the Gamer Xtreme 6000 will be a little higher up the chart.

The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 1000 will feature an Intel Core i3-530 processor, along with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and graphics supplied by NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 220 card. Storage will be provided by a 500GB HDD. This gaming rig will come in at the low low price of only $650. While it’s not a $4,000 elite machine, the Gamer Xtreme 1000 will play older games well enough.

The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 6000 is a touch more powerful than it’s little bother. It comes with the Core i3-540 processor, and CyberPower upgraded the RAM to 8GB of DDR3. Graphics processing is done by the ATI Radeon HD 5870 – a very solid, high end card, if I do say so myself. It’ll also include a 1TB HDD and an optional Blu-Ray drive. The Gamer Xtreme will set you back $1490.

Both of these are lower-end machines, and CyberPower, like most boutique computer builders, will build you a custom computer with your exact specifications, but these two machines aren’t bad, especially if you’re on a budget. Both machines will come equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium, and you can order them now.
