Up to $100,000 Bounty Set for Apple Tablet Leaks

Since we cover Apple’s upcoming tablet extensively here on TFTS it’s only logical to inform you tech-cravers that there’s a bounty set on the iSlate’s head. It looks like Valleywag wants to desperately see the thing despite we’re just about two weeks away from its official launch.
And in case you are able to provide more information regarding the tablet you will be able to walk away with some cash although I don’t see Apple agreeing with such behavior.
Valleywag will offer you the following bounties for tablet news:
- $10,000 for bona fide pictures
- $20,000 for video of one in action
- $50,000 for pictures or video of Steve Jobs holding one
- $100,000 to let [them] play with one for an hour.
Personally I think the last two should be inversed. I think it’s easier to somehow walk away with a functional tablet than to convince Steve Jobs to pose for a pretty tablet picture for you. Also you’d have more chances denying stealing the thing than trying to convince him that it wasn’t you that leaked the picture.
Now it’s not my business to tell you that if indeed you have access to Apple’s top secret products and decide to go for any kind of shenanigans involving the tablet you will face lots of consequences which you’re not likely to enjoy. After all Cupertino will not let anyone mess around with the way they run their business especially regarding leaks and rumors.
In case this incentive method does work, then we’ll end up with getting some more leaked pictures before January 26/27 at beast. Just like the one we’ve seen the other day. And no, Photoshop enthusiasts, you won’t be able to create your design since you will only get paid after the product gets confirmed.
So with all these in mind I can only say that we’ll all have to patiently wait. It’s only two more weeks, what’s the rush?
