As you may have noticed these past few days, various companies have officially commented on Apple’s upcoming products. We’ve seen Orange France confirm and then deny the tablet, KT tell everyone that the iPhone 4G is coming in April and now we have Intel offering a Core i5 MacBook Pro as a prize in their latest promo.

So there you have it folks, the MacBook Pro will finally get the much anticipated upgrade. Most computer manufacturers have already announced laptops that will come equipped with Intel’s latest batch of processors. Apple will surely not want to miss on any of that and the Core i5 MacBook Pro should be coming soon.

Intel leaked the new MacBook Pro version in a promotion sent to U.S. members of Intel’s Retail Edge Program:

The event seems to be very busy so far. Apple is rumored to launch its upcoming iSlate and present the new iPhone OS 4.0. But they will probably have time to also show to the world the new line of MacBook Pro laptops.

Hopefully Apple will start selling the new MacBook Pros very soon without modifying their base pricing. We can expect various Core i5 versions to be utilized but we also expect Cupertino to keep up its current payment structure.

On the other hand Apple’s latest iMac upgraded brought Core i5 processors only to the top-end model which also happens to be the most expensive iMac. Will that happen with the MacBook Pro line too? Will only the 17-inch MacBook Pro receive the mobile Core i5 processor?
