Sanyo Xacti CS1 Camera Breaks Cover at CES

Straight from the halls of CES 2010 in Sin City, the folks from Sanyo have introduced their new Full HD Slim Type Dual Camera Xacti VPC-CS1. Supposedly the world’s smallest, lightest and thinnest dual camera Xacti to be released this year, the new CS1 is only 27mm thick, weighs in at only 142 grams, yet, it’s still capable to record full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution videos and take up to 8-megapixel still images.
The new Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 continues the tradition as a convenient device for sharing videos online, on blogs or on other multi-media sites. The camera captures in MPEG-4 AVC / H.264, and more interestingly, it’s undergoing official certification to support iFrame which is a next-gen video format specifically designed to allow users to easily import, edit and share high quality video.
On top of that it comes with a set of 38mm wide angle lens that helps it zoom up to 10x and incorporates 3 microphone modes (wide mode, gun microphone mode and zoom combination mode).
Sanyo’s Xacti CS1 dual camera should be selling from February for some $400.
