Vodafone UK Google Nexus One Availability Confirmed [Nexus One Releasing in Europe in a Few Months?]

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months you already know that Google have entered the mobile phone market by announcing their own device which goes by the name of Nexus One. We can now give you full specs and features regarding the device, know that it will be subsidized on T-Mobile in the US and that the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong will get their hands on it as test countries. But what about Europe? When is the new Google Nexus One going to be available in Europe?

Well first of all let’s start with the UK as we just caught wind that Vodafone UK is going to carry the handset “in a few short weeks”. More to it, word is that Vodafone will be the carrier for the Nexus One in France, Germany and other European countries, soon after.

“I can confirm that Vodafone is the first operator to partner with Google to offer the Nexus One in Europe, starting soon in the UK, in a few short weeks. No detail on pricing and precise timing has yet been made, but that will come in a few weeks.” Vodafone spokesperson.

What we don’t know for sure is if Europe is going to have an unlocked version of the phone, like the US does, or if we’re bound to have our import papers worked out.
