Microsoft Arc Keyboard Follows on from MS Arc Mouse

Back in July of 2008 (that long ago?) we brought you news concerning Microsoft’s (then) new Arc Mouse and now, somewhat later than one would have expected, Microsoft have officially announced the Microsoft Arc wireless keyboard.
“The design tenets that we looked to for the Arc Keyboard were simplicity and crisp softness, creating an aesthetic for this product that is casual and sophisticated at the same time,” said Monique Chatterjee, industrial designer for Microsoft Hardware who introduced the Microsoft Arc wireless keyboard. “We drew our design inspiration directly from the places where we envision this product will be used so it perfectly blends with existing home accessories.”
Microsoft Arc Wireless Keyboard Key Features:
- Battery Life Indicator – Glowing light tells you when battery is low. Press function + escape to easily turn the keyboard on and off.
- Clean lines and eye catching shape – Show it off with an eye-catching shape that complements your style.
- Lightweight and Compact – Works here, there and everywhere.
- Stowable Nano 2.4 GHz Wireless Transceiver – Leave the transceiver plugged into your PC, or stow it in the keyboard.
The MS Arc Wireless Keyboard is set to retail for around $60 when it gains release on February 21st as (initially?) a Best Buy exclusive.
