HP Pavilion Elite HPE Desktop & HP Compaq L2105tm Multitouch LCD Setup

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the good folks from HP have announced a neat Windows 7 setup for those looking to take advantage of the multitouch capabilities of the operating system — we’re talking about the HP Pavilion Elite HPE (high performance edition) desktop computer and the 21.5-inch multi-touch capable HP Compaq L2105tm LCD.
Coming in various configurations that range from Core 2 Quad (Core 2 Quad Q9300) to Core i7 (Core i7-920) and even AMD Phenom II processors (AMD Phenom II 925 and 955), the new HP Pavilion Elite HPE also manages to impress with 1TB of storage, up to 24GB of RAM, NVIDIA or ATI graphics and, DVD burners, WiFi a/g/n connectivity, gigabit ethernet port, and, as expected, Windows 7.
As for the LCD, the new HP Compaq L2105tm is the company’s first optical-touch monitor. It boasts a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and delivers full HD 1920 x 1080 resolutions.
For now we have nothing regarding price for the new Pavilion Elite HPE , but know that it will be released at the end of January. As for the L2105tm multi-touch LCD, it should be yours right now for just shy off $300.
