BlackBerry Presenter Gets Official

I was pleasantly surprised to see RIM thinking out of the box today as the first product the company unveiled at CES 2010 wasn’t a new BlackBerry smartphone. What RIM launched was a tool meant to help you deliver PowerPoint presentations while you’re on the go. The BlackBerry Presenter is the device in question and it will be available in a store near you soon.

As BlackBerry smartphones are the weapons of choice for many professionals out there so it only makes sense for RIM to launch such a device. The BlackBerry Presenter will help you deliver fast presentations without having to bring your laptop along. A BlackBerry smartphone is still required in order to make the Presenter run.

The Presenter will connect to your smartphone thanks to its Bluetooth support and thus you will be able to deliver any presentation no matter where you are. The BlackBerry Presenter is currently on display at CES 2010 and it will be available for sale later this year for $199. Any takers?
