Lenovo Skylight Smart-book Price & Availability Confirmed [Lenovo Snapdragon-powered Skylight Smart-Book to Debut in April]

As of late, Lenovo has been doing everything humanly possible to get our attention with their new products. New netbooks models have surfaced along with more stylish laptops and all-in-one desktop computers, but the real piece of resistance for someone looking for both mobility and working power is the new Lenovo Skylight, an ARM-based smart-book that the company has just confirmed to be delivering sometime in April.
Extremely thin and light, with a rounded design, Lenovo Skylight is not only the company’s first smart-book but the industry’s first ARM-based smart-book to see daylight. It uses Qualcomm’s uber-fast 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, boasts a 10.1-inch display that does 1,280 x 720 resolutions, runs on a customized version of Linux and has 20GB of flash storage space. On top of that there’s 2GB of cloud storage, an 8GB miniSD card if you need some extra room for those holiday pictures, two USB ports, a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi connectivity and a powerful battery that hails to keep the show running for nothing less than 10 hours. All these packed in a 2 lbs enclosure!
Preparing to sell for a $499 MSRP this April, the new Lenovo Skylight is also expected to be available from AT&T but there’s nothing confirmed whether the US carrier will bring it as a subsidized model if you have your signature on one of their DataConnect contracts.
