Liquid Image has been producing ski masks, swimming goggles and scuba masks with cameras for some time and now, just before CES 2010, they’ve unveiled the Summit Snow Camera Goggles 335 – perfect for filming your exploits on the ski slopes.

As Liquid Image’s press release says “The concept of integrating the camera into the sports equipment allows the user to travel with fewer items and to keep their hands free while performing sports activities.”While the goggles only have a meager 16MB of on-board storage (that’s right – megabyte), the inclusion of a SD slot lets you expand that up to 16GB.

The goggles’ 5.0-megapixel sensor has a camera mode that takes pictures at a resolution of 2560 x 1920 while the video mode records video in 720 x 480 – hardly HD, but take it or leave it.The video transfers off of the goggles via the SD card or a USB cable. The goggles are powered by a rechargeable battery that can record 2200 still pictures, or 2.2 hours of video.

The buttons to control the camera are very big and glove-friendly, so you don’t have to take off your ski gloves to manage.Unfortunately, the goggles will miss this year’s ski season as they’re coming out in Summer of 2010. The recommended asking price of the unit is $149
