Motorola Shadow/Mirage Phone Rumored [Rumored Super-Thin Motorola Android Phone Coming?]

A Chinese leak has reported to the internet that Motorola is preparing an uber-thin Android smartphone. The phone is being referred to as two different names “Shadow” and “Mirage”. The phone will reportedly be just a third of an inch thick and will be capable of 1080p HD video.

Stuffed into the uber-thin body of the phone will be a Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera, an HDMI port, and a 4.3-inch touch screen. For comparison, the current Motorola Droid has a 3.7-inch screen. All we’ve seen so far is a very shady looking computer render of a thin phone.

Ironically, the render of the phone that originally showed up on the Chinese message board and passed around the gadget blog circuit as the picture of the phone actually had the color contrast modified.

Another poster somehow got the correct colors out of the photo – the phone is actually black with a red screen (shown above). Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this cool looking phone, it could be a hoax, or we could possibly see a grand reveal at CES.
