Although we’re two days ahead of Christmas and everyone think of more time off with their families, there are a lot of worthwhile news in the mobile phone market that need to be covered. Although just a rumor for now, last to tickle our antennas is the fact that the new LG PRADA 3 smartphone might be running Android OS when officially announced sometime next year (as soon as the first quarter, if your sources are correct).
Just as good is the fact that the handset is also rumored to be the first PRADA mobile phone to get a deal with a US mobile operator (as previous models have only been sold SIM-free and unlocked, hence why the ultra high price tags) — with Sprint expected to carry the PRADA III on their CDMA network.
Packed with a QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display, LG’s stylish new PRADA 3 emphasizes on form factor. The phone is expected to make world debut next month at the CES 2010 Show in Las Vegas, where the two companies, together with Brooke Shields will held the joint event.
