Canon EOS-1D Mark IV High-speed, Professional DSLR Becomes Available [EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR PowerHouse Confirmed in Korea, US Availability Expected Soon]

Officially unveiled about two months ago, the new Canon EOS-1D Mark IV high-speed, professional DSLR has just been rolled out in Korea. Designed for those photographers who need speed, power and high-resolution imagery to capture split-second situations (action, sports, news events or wildlife photography), the new EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR promises everything and delivers under the most challenging conditions.

As previously reported the new Canon EOS-1D Mark IV will ship with a 16.1 megapixel APS-H CMOS sensor with dual Digic 4 imaging processors and 14-bit A/D data conversion, a brand new 45-point Auto Focus (AF) system with 39 f/2.8 sensitive cross-type points and 1080p Full HD video capture capabilities. Speaking of the dual Digic 4 processors, with your new EOS-1D Mark IV you’ll be allowed to shoot continuous, high-resolution images at up to 10 fps at the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date.

But you probably knew all these, as you had the full press release with all specs, detailing the new camera extremely well.

What you may not know is that not everyone will afford the new Canon EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR as it’s priced at 6,000,000 KRW which is around $5,070 — just a bit more compared to the $4,999 price tag it will bear when released in the US (which should be announced in a matter of days).
