Motorola Backflip/Enzo Revealed

Pictures and information have been released on an upcoming Android phone. The Motorola Backflip/Enzo will reportedly become AT&T’s first Android phone, and features an unusual design where the plastic QWERTY keyboard flips behind the screen, instead of sliding up conventionally.
Tech blog Phandroid broke the story with exclusive info and pictures on the upcoming phone. Their tipster revealed that the phone is internally called ‘Enzo’ by Motorola (Ferrari fans, I guess?) but will probably be called ‘Backflip’ when it’s launched to consumers. It’s running the older Android 1.5, with Motorola’s MOTOBLUR GUI wrapper.
Apparently, this phone will sport a heavily modified version of Android. It will not come with any Google Apps, other than Maps. Gmail will be disabled on the phone, as will Google Search, with Yahoo Search being the default search engine on the phone. The Android Market will be enabled, however. As said previously, the body of the phone features a QWERTY keyboard that flips up behind the screen and faces out when not in use.
As for the specs, it packs a Qualcomm 528MHz processor (the same used in the Motorola CLIQ), 256MB of RAM, 512MB of Flash Storage, WiFi, aGPS, Bluetooth and a 5-megapixel camera. The tipster confirmed the phone will be released on AT&T, and pictures of the phone show AT&T logos and references on the software. No word on pricing or availability, yet.
