ViewSonic has released information on a new netbook that they will be releasing in just two days. The VNB102 ViewBook will be unleashed on the general public on December 18th, and is your run-of-the-mill solid netbook.
ViewSonic, quite honestly, is better known for their monitors and displays, but with everybody getting into the netbook game, seems that they wanted to as well. The VNB102 is your fairly standard netbook. It’ features an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, on-board Intel graphics, Windows 7 and a 160GB hard drive. It sports a 10″ LCD screen, has WiFi support, three USB ports, and ViewSonic promises up to 6 hours of battery life.
Interested? The VNB102 will be out on December 18th, with a price of $399, which is a bit more than most netbooks with this sort of spec range. In their press release announcing this PC, they revealed that ViewSonic is planning more netbooks in the upcoming year, so stay tuned for more netbooks from a monitor company.
