MSI X-Slim X600 Pro Revealed

Taiwan’s MSI has added a new ‘Pro’ version of their X600 laptop to their X-Slim line. The new pro laptop packs a bigger processor and comes with Windows 7. The X-Slim series is MSI’s line of hip looking, ultra-thin laptop computers.
The new X-Slim is pretty ‘extra slim’. The notebook has an overall thickness of 2.5cm (only 0.98 inches), and weights in at 4.63 pounds. As for the specs, the X600 Pro comes with a Core 2 Duo processor (no clock speed announced), 2GB of DDR2, and an ATI Radeon HD 4330 with 512MB of VRAM. It’s not the Radeon 5970, but considering the size of the laptop, it’s a decent mobile graphics card.
The X600 Pro also comes with a Blu-Ray drive, and a HDMI port, allowing you to use your X600 Pro as a standalone Blu-Ray player. The X600 Pro has a decent 15″ LCD screen, and can be upgraded to include Bluetooth, although it isn’t standard. MSI just released pictures and specs today, with pricing and a release date to be announced at CES.
