Motorola Milestone Sells Out in UK on First Day [European Moto Droid Stocks Exhausted in Three Hours]

Most of you already know that the European version of the Droid, the new Motorola Milestone has debuted in the UK, this Friday. What you may not know is the amazing success it had with customers flocking the eXpansys exclusive stores and clearing any stock available in something less than three hours.
Although no one quantified how many handsets have been sold (at least 1,000 units considering the pre-orders), eXpansys saw an all-time record that even beat their iPhone sales. Apparently the handset was listed at 10AM and in juts two hours and a half they had no Milestones to sell. So basically, if you’re in the UK and want to get your hand on one you’ll have to wait till Christmas, as the company is now restocking.
As you already know the SIM-unlocked Android phone brings a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen running at 854 x 480, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel autofocus camera and Android 2.0. There’s also the already regular WiFi( b/g) and Bluetooth connectivity, along with HSDPA/HSUPA support.
Are we actually assisting to Motorola’s rebirth?
