H2O Audio Capture Waterproof iPod Nano Case Released

Completely Waterproof iPod Case Lets You Listen To Music, Take Pictures Underwater

H20-Audio-iPod-Case

H2O Audio, the manufacturer of waterproof headphones and other water-friendly audio equipment has released the Capture, a waterproof case for 5th Generation iPod Nanos (the new ones). This completely sealed iPod case allows you to use all the features of the Nano underwater, including listening to music and taking pictures.

H20 Audio claims that the Capture is 100% and can be fully submersed up to 12 feet of water, and a highly polished polycarbonate lens allows you to even take pictures underwater. Although an iPod Nano is generally completely incased in plastic, H20 Audio’s proprietary ’Commander’ interface lets you still have ‘full’ control over the iPod Nano.

Super surfer Laird Hamilton endorses the Capture, but he also sits on H20 Audio’s board of directors, and (based on guest postings he’s done for blog Gizmodo), he’s long been a proponent of music while surfing and H20 Audio’s waterproof music equipment. The Capture will set you back $80 and is now shipping. To make them work, you’ll have to have a set of waterproof headphones, also from H2O audio, and ranging in cost from $50 to $100.
