Foxconn Bamboo One & Bamboo II PC Cases

Foxconn Debuts Eye-catching Bamboo Forest 1 & Bamboo TXM-355 Forest 2 microATX Cases

Foxconn Bamboo Cases

If you’re trying to make a point with your custom made computer, by the looks of it you have two choices. First one is the modular case design by Thermalmake that has gotten some pretty nice reviews as of late with iBuyPower first to feature them in their new Level 10 PCs, and secondly these Foxconn cases clad in bamboo that have caused some serious drooling at the TFTS headquarters.

Although not the most common material for computer cases, the new Foxconn Bamboo One and the Bamboo II PC cases are the world’s first to  feature a bamboo front cover making for an appealing new addition to those concerned with Earth’s health.

Aiming to achieve an environmentally-friendly status in China, both the Bamboo Forest 1 ATX case and the TXM-355 or also known as the Bamboo Forest 2 microATX case, fail to impress when it comes to details (ugly glue work on the optical drive flap and quite some rough cuts), although it’s an awesome idea.

Can’t tell for sure if the wood will shield you from your computer’s electromagnetic radiation or if it’s fireproof, but the new Foxconn bamboo cases certainly add a fresh breath of air to your office.
