Skype for Symbian Beta Available Now

If you happen to be packing a Nokia phone based on the Symbian Series 60 OS – which takes in handsets such as the Nokia E71, N81, N82, N90, N96 (a fill list of compatible handsets is offered below) – and you’re looking to get a little Skype action going on your phone then you may be interested in the newly released Skype for Symbian application which is now downloadable in Beta form for you to put through its paces.
According to the official Skype for Symbian Beta release page, the new app takes in the following Symbian Series 60 Nokia phones:

- Nokia E66
- Nokia N82
- Nokia E51
- Nokia N95
- Nokia N95 8GB
- Nokia N81
- Nokia N81 8GB
- Nokia E90
- Nokia N96

- Nokia 6210 Navigator
- Nokia 6210 Classic
- Nokia N78
- Nokia N79
So, if you own one of the above handsets and you fancy trialling the new beta Skype for Symbian, you have your green light to give it a whirl and, should you find any issues, or feel that the app is in any way sub-par, its nice to know that Skype are more than happy to hear your thoughts (indeed, they are actively seeking your feedback).
