Affordable Nokia 5235 Touchscreen Music Phone Announced

Nokia 5235 Comes With Music Phone

Following to the success of their music phone collection, folks from Nokia have just made the official announcement regarding the latest in the series, the new Nokia 5235 “Comes With Music”. A worthy successor to the 5230 XpressMusic we first heard about this summer, the new Nokia 5235 is a touchscreen handset that vouches to bring users a lot of free music at a price “they might not expect” — which translates to unlimited access to the Nokia Music Store catalogue for you to download as much legal music as you want (over a 12-18 months time period).

Specs wise, Nokia 5235 brings a bright 3.2-inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera and runs Symbian S60 5th edition. It features a microSD card slot to expand the phone’s built-in memory (up to 16GB of storage), a 3.5mm audio output and a rather powerful battery that allows for up to 18 days of stand-by time or 33 hours of music playback.

In other terms, the new Nokia 5235 “Comes With Music” should go for a pre-tax and pre-subsidy price of €145 (some $215 at today’s rate) which is some €100 off the 5230 XpressMusic.

Cheaper and a lot more appealing, you sure managed to impress us Nokia!
