If the newly announced Nokia 6700 Gold Edition posted about by Kevin yesterday doesn’t quite do it for you but you’re looking for a phone with that certain bling appeal (and the iPhone 3GS SUPREME is just a little out of reach) how about the newly introduced Samsung Omnia I8910 HD Gold Edition?
Sporting a 3.7” 16:9 aspect ratio 16M color AMOLED display and HSUPA 5.76Mbps/HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity, the Samsung Omnia I8910 HD Gold Edition, aside from packing integrated GPS, 16GB of integrated memory (supplemented by a bundled 32GB microSD card), an 8 megapixel camera offering 720p HD video capture, inbuilt stereo speakers and, of course, TV-out, allowing you to hook the phone up directly to HDTVs, the Gold Edition Omina also boasts a 24 karat gold inlay and comes complete with a leather case just to ensure that the phone’s lustre remains intact.

“We are launching the Samsung I8910 HD Gold Edition for those who enjoy the amazing multimedia experience and features it offers, and want an extra touch of style and sophistication with their mobile phone,” said Younghee Lee, vice president of the Mobile Communication Division, Samsung Electronics. “The I8910 HD Gold Edition demonstrates our vision to provide phones for every customer, while delivering functionality, style, usability and entertainment in each innovative device.”
There’s no word concerning the Samsung Omnia I8910 HD Gold Edition’s pricing as at the time of writing, but Samsung have confirmed that the premium version of the Omnia is set to hit this month in ‘selected markets’ (those specifically being Singapore, Germany and the Middle East).
