Olympus PEN E-P2 Camera Begins Shipping Today [Micro Four Thirds E-P2 Camera With Continous Autofocus & 720p ]

First leaked in October in China and then officially announced last month, the new Olympus E-P2 has finally made its way to a wide variety of respected e-tailers. Bringing incredible improvements to its predecessor, the original E-P1, the micro four thirds E-P2 brags with continuous autofocus tracking, an electronic viewfinder with more details (1.44 million dots) than before and shutter control in 720p movie recording (at 30fps).
Definitely meant for the loaded photographer, the sexy Olympus PEN E-P2 would blow your pocket for just shy of $1,100 no matter if you choose the model with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko digital zoom lens or those 17mm f/2.8 lens that deliver on portability.

Other than the above, that amount of money makes sure you’re getting a 12-megapixel sensor, an image stabilization system with four EV steps, eight art filters for special effects stereo, and, also in the box, you’re getting a stereo microphone adapter (the EMA-1).
Definitely an impressive shooter (although somewhat niche), we still have a hard time swallowing the $1,100 price tag. How about you?
