NEC have added two models to their professional projector lineup with the new NEC NP2200 and the NEC NP1200 projectors that not only vouch for outstanding performance, also make for an eco-friendly and energy efficient setup ideal for higher education and corporate environments

Priced at $2,399 for the NP2200 and $1,999 for the NP1200, both models allow images of up to 500-inches at (max) 304-feet from the surface, delivers native resolutions of up to 1024 x 768 pixels, a contrast ratio of 600:1 and comes packed with built-in 5W speakers.

NEC NP2200 Projector Specs

• 4200 lumens brightness
• Complete line of (5) bayonet-style lenses
• Vertical and horizontal lens shift
• Built-in closed captioning enables decoding and display of text information from a video
• Virtual Remote (DDC/CI) over the VGA cable to control the projector directly from a computer without the need for additional control cables
• Variable audio-out allows the remote control to adjust the volume of self-powered external speakers connected to the projector
• Extended lamp life with ECO Mode^TM technology increases lamp life of up to 3000 hours, while lowering power consumption
• Comprehensive input panel includes 5-BNC, DVI-D with HDCP, 15-pin, RCA and S-Video

As for the NEC NP1200, the specs are virtually the same but this model only has 3700 ANSI lumens.

Both models start selling this month.
