Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Availabile on Both AT&T & T-Mobile

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you already know that XPERIA X10 is the flagship model to Sony Ericsson’s current line of mobiles and their currently most advanced Android-based smartphone. Also known is the fact that X10 was only supposed to be distributed through AT&T’s retailers. But things tend to be a lot different as today we just caught wind that the handset is also expected to be available on T-Mobile.
An official leaked document that came out today states clearly that the device comes in two variants. First one is the 850 MHz UMTS HSPA band, used by AT&T, and the other one is the 1,700 MHz UMTS HSPA band, the same one that T-Mobile uses — a clear indication that there are two US carriers to bring the XPERIA X10 to the market.

Other than that the document revealed other things about the phone, including the fact that it uses a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen that boasts a 480×850 resolution and an 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and a LED flash.
The new XPERIA X10 will be shipped with Android 1.6 (although we have our fingers crossed for Android 2.0 by the time it comes out) and is expected to cost somewhere in the $600 are — although a certain price hasn’t been confirmed by any of the two operators.
