If you’re like us and felt in love with the Adamo XPS design and its amazing performance figures, but the exquisite price tag it sells for has put you away from bringing one home, folks from Dell have a way to take your frustration away as the company has just announced an Adamo-inspired Vostro V13 ultraportable that should cash in on the looks of its bigger brother.

An ultraportable notebook that is only 0.65-inch thick and weighs in at only 3.5lbs, the new Dell Vostro V13 comes with a choice of energy-efficient Intel CULV processors that include the 1.2GHz Celeron, the 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo or the 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo. Packed inside of an ultra-light aluminum body, the V13 features a 13.3-inch WLED LED-backlit HD display, up to 4GB of RAM (one slot DDR3 SDRAM), Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD and up to 500GB of storage space (either 5,400 rpm or 7,200 rpm hard SATA drives).

Meant for the business traveler who needs a stunningly capable and remarkably thin computer to work on, the Vostro V13 has ethernet, USB, eSATA, audio in/out, an SD card slot and an ExpressCard slot. It also has the regualr Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.

Already officially available in Singapore, the new Dell Vostro V13 ships with a 6-cell battery and an option External 8X DVD+/-RW drive, for something close to $450. Not a bad deal eh?
